2010 - 2011 Registration: For All Pre-registered Current and New Students

Registration forms are now available for 2010-2011. Please fill out, sign, and initial all the forms in the 2010-2011 Registration Packet, and bring, mail, fax, or email the packet to the school. Registration forms should be received at City Academy by June 4.

If you are not yet pre-registered for next year, please do that first using either the new student or current student pre-registration forms below.

New Student and Parents

City Academy is an intentionally small school so that we may create personalized BIG learning and a strong school community. We encourage you and your student to attend our open houses to learn more about us, and to talk with teachers, parents, and students.  For more information call 801-596-8489.  We look forward to getting to know you.

The Lottery

New students for the next school year are admitted to our school each year through a state-mandated lottery process. The lottery is held each year on the 3rd Friday of February. If you are interested in entering your student in the lottery for the next school year, please fill out our New Student Lottery Form by printing and mailing or faxing it to the school.

During the spring following the new student lottery in February, new students wishing to enroll for the next fall should submit a Pre-Registration form for New Students Post-Lottery. Names from these submissions will be added to our waiting list in the order they are received. When a space is available the student and family will be notified of their opportunity to enroll.

During a school year, City Academy accepts students when openings become available. Please see our enrollment policy for more information.  City Academy is a public school and therefore has no admissions requirements except that students must be in good standing at their current school.

Post Lottery

During the spring following the new student lottery each February, new students wishing to enroll for the next fall should submit a Pre-Registration form for New Students Post-Lottery. Current Students and Parents

If you are a student enrolled in good standing at City Academy you must pre-register for the following school year each February, prior to the third Friday lottery. Please complete and submit the Current Student Pre-registration Form for yourself, and a Sibling Pre-registration Form for your sibling(s) by the 3rd Friday in February to ensure enrollment for next year. 

PLEASE NOTE: The only way to guarantee that you may continue your superb education at City Academy for the next school year is to pre-register before the 3rd Friday in February.  After the new student lottery enrollment could be full.
